A Division: Nick Opens With a Statement

If anyone wondered whether last season’s A‑Division runner‑up would come out hungry, Nick answered with authority. His 71 was the round of the day across the entire league, powered by six birdies, ten greens in regulation, and his trademark power off the tee.

Right behind him, Terence looked sharp with a 72, showing the same form that carried him deep into last year’s playoffs. John and Matt T also impressed with 74 and 75, respectively, while Todd posted a strong 77.

Richard added a composed 79, and Wayne, Chris, and Phil all turned in solid 80s to stay within striking distance.

A Division Takeaway:   Nick and Terence look ready to run it back, but the depth of this division is already showing.

B Division: A Tight Pack Forms Early

Waialae didn’t give Division B much breathing room, but several players handled the challenge well.

Brad, Julian, and Vince all opened with sharp 82s, showing early-season consistency. Ryan B and Victor followed closely with 83s, while Brendan posted a respectable 85.

Mitch and Owen both shot 86, keeping themselves in the mix despite some tough stretches. Carlos matched them with an 86, leaning on seven greens in regulation.

C Division: A Rough Start, but Parity Everywhere

Waialae hit Division C the hardest. No one broke 90, but the leaderboard is tightly packed.

Richie led the way with a 92, followed closely by Bjorn and Ravi at 96. 

Ryan T and Jeff posted 94 and 93, respectively, while Ryan A, Tim, Mark, and Kevin all finished between 97 and 99.

Bhavika opened with a 91, one of the steadier rounds in the division.

C Division Takeaway:   This division is wide open. One good week could swing the standings dramatically.

D Division: Early Chaos, Familiar Names Near the Top

The D Division delivered its usual unpredictability.

Daren posted a strong 94, while Corey followed with a 95. Marc and Bjorn S both shot 96 and 102, respectively, while Kelvin, Jean Luc, and Matt C all finished between 98 and 101.

Ed struggled to a 101, but with Waialae playing brutally tough, no one is out of the picture.
