DGL Week 7 Recap: John Goes Nuclear at Bay Hill as A Division Dominates Again

Bay Hill is a ball‑striker’s test. Thick rough, firm greens, long par fours, and the kind of layout where you can’t fake a good round. And in the final week before playoffs, the league’s best players showed up ready.

This was one of the strongest top‑end scoring weeks of the entire season.

A Division: John, Richard, and Nick Deliver a Three‑Headed Masterclass

A Division once again owned the top of the leaderboard, but this time

John stole the show.

John – 66 (1st place)

This was a statement round.

  • 7 birdies

  • 15 greens in regulation

  • 300‑yard LD

  • Only 3 fairways, but he didn’t miss a single approach that mattered

This is one of the most dominant ball‑striking rounds of the entire season.

Richard – 67 (2nd place)

Eight birdies.
Twelve greens.
A 323‑yard missile for LD.
Richard continues to prove he’s one of the most dangerous players in the league when he’s dialed in.

Nick – 68 (3rd place)

Five birdies and twelve greens.
Classic Nick: clean, controlled, and always near the top.

Terence – 71 (4th place)

Six birdies and thirteen greens.
He didn’t quite match his Riviera explosion, but this was still elite.

Wayne – 74 (6th place)

A rare eagle and nine greens.
A strong bounce‑back after a tough stretch.

A Division takeaway:
The top four players in the league are peaking at the perfect time. Playoffs are going to be wild.

B Division: Victor Leads the Pack, but the Middle Is Tight

Bay Hill wasn’t easy for B Division, but a few players handled the challenge well.

Victor – 72 (5th overall)

Four birdies and seven greens.
He continues to show he can hang with A‑Division ball striking when he’s on.

Ryan B – 77

Four birdies and seven fairways.
A gritty round that kept him competitive.

Carlos & Brad – 80

Both posted solid rounds, with Carlos flashing big‑time power with a 302‑yard LD.

Julian, Vince, Owen, Will, Mitch

All finished between 81 and 87, with Bay Hill’s rough and water claiming plenty of victims.

B Division takeaway:
Victor takes the week, but the middle of the division remains tightly packed heading into playoffs.

C Division: Bhavika Leads the Week as the Division Battles Bay Hill

C Division had a tough time with Bay Hill’s demands, but a few players stood out.

Bhavika – 85

Five greens and seven fairways.
This was one of her most controlled rounds of the season.

Jeff – 89

Two birdies and six fairways.
A steady performance.

Richie, Kevin, Ryan A, Bjorn

All finished between 91 and 93, with the course exposing any missed tee shots.

C Division takeaway:
Bhavika takes the week, but the division as a whole struggled. Playoff seeding is going to be tight.

D Division: Ravi and Corey Stay Steady, but Bay Hill Hits Hard

Division D saw some of its toughest scoring of the season.

Ravi – 87

Five greens and five fairways.
A strong round on a brutal course.

Corey – 89

Five greens and four fairways.
Solid, controlled golf.

Marc – 90, Ed – 91, Mark – 91

All three showed flashes but couldn’t avoid Bay Hill’s traps.

Daren, Matt C, Kelvin, Brenden S

All finished between 93 and 95, with the course punishing every mistake.

D Division takeaway:
Ravi takes the week, but the division remains wide open heading into playoffs.

Week 7 at Bay Hill delivered exactly what a regular‑season finale should:
